Heal Thy Self from Stress

In these fast pace and difficult times- stress is the disease that seems to overwhelm millions of people on a regular basis. Stress is like Satan, seeks to destroy the mind, body and soul. It's the one disease that can have impact on the whole you. Medical Professionals have found that stress tend to link to other illness including heart disease, stroke, cancer, impotent, insomnia, and the list goes on and on. Actually, stress affect the whole you to the point that it can worsen other ailments.

So how can I avoid stress? Stress is pretty much unavoidable for everyone encounters it at some time or another.  There is really no clear definition of stress other than the situations which we are face with in life that we are not contended with.  When I think of stress it let me know that my body is saying slow down, relax please. Fact is we might need something to help us mellow down.  Many times when we take a  natural approach  and make a few lifestyle changes, it does the trick.

Herbs can be very effective in relieving stress-related symptoms. Among some of the best herbs that believe to provide relief are valerian, catnip, balm, and passionflower. All of these herb can be brought in the form that can be make into a tea. The healing properties found in these herbs are that of natural tranquilizers and sedative qualities. From herbs in general you can rest assure they can be the first step toward healing. If you reach a state of calmness you will giving your body a chance to repair itself, as a result of that stress.

Sometimes removing yourself from a "problem environment" will lower your stress level. For me personally, I have noticed that when I step away from certain environments I feel instant relief. I will often make a catnip tea just before bedtime and find it to relaxing and calming. Catnip tea have been a old folk remedy in my family for years.
